PUCKS is used currently by ten NHL clubs. Another system developed by former GM Mike Smith is used by six teams, though it is not mentioned in the second link.

Dirk Hoag of On The Forecheck says that Detroit's Brian Rafalski is not happy about Tennessee's relatively new privilege tax. According to Rafalski, seventeen Detroit players will be paying more in taxes as the result of playing in last Saturday night's game against Nashville than what they earned playing in that one game. Should the NHL have followed in the NFL's footsteps on this one?
